Access: From Winthrop, drive north on the West Chewuch rd, 19 miles. Just after the Lake Creek Bridge turn left and drive 2 miles to the Lake Creek Trailhead.

Route Description: A bulletin board and horse unloading ramp mark the start of the trail, whick quickly enters heavy forest and soon after passes into the Pasayten Wilderness. At first the trail hangs on a steep side-slope above Lake Creek. Later the valley widens a little and the path is on flatter ground. There is a comfortable, sheltered campsite at about 2.5 miles.

Restrictions: No motorized vehicles.

Trailhead Facilities: Campsites, corral, hitchrail, toilet, stock loading ramp.
