Pre-order your Nordic skis with Winthrop Mountain Sports and get access to hand-selected World Cup stock, personally selected by our team at European ski factories to match you and Pacific Northwest snow conditions.
Not all skis of the same model perform the same. The best skis are selected one by one based on flex, camber, and snow conditions.

Hand-Selected by Experts
Your skis are selected by Erik Bjornsen (2× Olympian) and the Winthrop Mountain Sports team during trips to European ski factories, where skis are flex-tested and chosen individually.
This is not a standard catalog order. It’s a custom ski selection process used by athletes and performance-focused skiers who care about how their skis actually feel and perform.
We consider:
Skier weight and height
Skill level and goals
Classic or skate technique
Local snow conditions
Intended use (training, racing, fitness, long days)
